Silverado Vineyards Description
This bottling is held to a very high standard and produced in only outstanding years. The 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon Limited Reserve is highlighted by a deep red-purple color; aromas of cassis and cherry fruit, clove and cocoa, hints of bay leaf and earth; lush fruit and spice on the palate with firm tannins and balanced acidity, full body: long concentrated finish.

Sleek and elegant, rich and polished, with a pretty array of herb, black cherry, mint, wild berry, chocolate, anise and tar, finishing with firm yet supple tannins. Best from 2002 through 2012. 4,621 cases made.

A more full-blown style than the regular bottling. Fairly rich and oaky, creamy, and leesy. More complex, with very bright fruity flavors. High acidity. Needs some time in the bottle to settle down.
