The Aelred Pastis Plantes et Epices 1889 from Domaine Eyguebelle-Aelred is actually based on an old regional recipe from 1889, which is reflected in reflects its name.
Nose: fresh aniseed, light aromas of sweet liquorice root, plus rich spicy and floral aromas of cardamom, nutmeg and cinnamon
Palate: fresh and round with clear notes of aniseed and liquorice
The Aelred Pastis Plantes et Epices 1889 can be served in the traditional way as an aperitif with ice-cold water - or as a refined ingredient in long drinks and dishes.
