This Shiraz is the perfect weeknight wine for any big red lover!

This week’s Wine of the Week features 2019 Paringa Shiraz!

The Hickinbotham family has been producing wine in South Australia for nearly 80 years and in 1999, Paringa Shiraz was born. Vineyards benefit from the sun-drenched fertile soils and proximity to the Murray River. The river and other sources of water have always been a major feature of the Hickinbotham family vineyards and the name “Paringa” is derived from the local Australian Aboriginal language meaning “land or place at the river.”

Paringa Shiraz is rich and ripe with aromas of cherry, plum, chocolate, mint, and savory spice. The palate is lush and satiny in texture with powerful but not overwhelming tannins and hints of oak. It’s the perfect weeknight wine for any big red lover.

An excellent match with grilled or BBQ meats, lamb, hamburgers, grilled vegetables, beef stew, or hard cheeses.

Take home a bottle of 2019 Paringa Shiraz for only $10.99 while supplies last.

Cheers!
